Mr. Cristopher Spencer joined the Hydrologic Research Center in March 2007 as a member of the Information Technology department, responsible for systems administration and software development. Cristopher obtained his B.S. with Honors in Computer Science from California State Universtiy San Marcos in May 2006, additionally having minored in both Physics and Mathematics. Since joining the Hydrologic Research Center, Mr. Spencer has assisted in and supported the collaborative efforts of HRC researchers and engineers in the development and distribution of real-time operational forecast systems. His primary contributions to the implementation of these systems is in the areas of operational system design, real-time data acquisition and pre-processing, database and systems integration, and graphical post-processing. He is actively involved in the support and administration of computer systems and networks employed by HRC's staff.
